Industrial producer prices increase 0.3% in euro area

In both zones, intermediate goods gained 4.5 percent. Both durable consumer goods and non-durable consumer goods increased by 1.7 percent in the euro area and by 1.6 percent in the EU25. Capital goods rose by 1.1 percent and 1.2 percent respectively.
Among Member States for which data are available, the highest increases were observed in the United Kingdom (+12.1 percent), Slovakia (+9.9 percent), the Netherlands (+9.7 percent) and Greece (+9.3 percent), and the lowest in the Czech Republic (+1.5 percent), Ireland (+2.0 percent) and Slovenia (+2.4 percent).
