Shortage of water forced closure of Grasim, a flagship company of Aditya Birla Group, to shut its staple fibre plant at Nagda (Madhya Pradesh).
However, the company has informed that with the arrival of monsoon, its plant has restarted operations from July 4, 2006 and its production is likely to be restored in the next seven days.
Moreover, capacity expansion by 9125 TPA at company's viscose staple fibre plant at Harihar (Karnataka) is completed and the same has been commissioned.
