Alok plans delivering garments via Reliance & Wal-Mart

The 1,400-crore, Mumbai-based Industry plans to supply garments in the domestic market through Reliance and Wal-Mart and is also going to set up its own outlets.
Due to expected topline growth of 50 percent and escalation in exports the company revenues and profitability would increase.
The company has drawn up a capex plan of over Rs.1, 100 crores under phase-III expansion plan and has raised external commercial borrowing of US $100 million.
Alok industry retails through GAP, JC Penney, Macy's, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Linen & Things besides other leading brands, garment / home textile manufacturers and importers globally.
Meanwhile, Alok Industries have identified some textile companies in Italy and Portugal for acquisitions and are nearing to finalize the designing and marketing tie-up with an Italian company.
