GHCL's proposed retail chain acquisition is facing hurdle due to price differences.
Last year the textile company had acquired US-based Dan River and UK's home textiles retailer Roseby's.
However company officials informed that price negotiation is underway for retail chains in Italy and France.
These acquisitions would possible only when the differences in price offering are being sorted out.
They have also informed that GHCL has fulfilled all necessary formalities and in the final stage of acquiring soda ash plant in Romania. This plant has the capacity of 3 lakh tons.
