The UV protection provided by fabric depends on many factors, such as the type of fibre, colour, finishing, moisture content, composition, type and tightness of the weave and area mass (gr/cm2). The weaving method must leave no gaps between threads through which UV rays could penetrate the cloth.

Fabrics made with RadilonPlus have been tested for compliance with EU standard EN 13758-I. The tests were performed on plain weave fabric (10,800 thread count, 30 picks per cm.).

RadilonPlus PA66 is available in POY, FDY, Air Jet and DTY versions with various deniers. Fabrics made with RadilonPlus PA66 yarn are ideal for sportswear and leisurewear.
