World's leading trade fair for the processing of flexible materials from 21st to 24th April 2009. At the most recent meeting of the IMB — World of Textile Processing — Advisory Committee in Cologne in June 2006, the dates for the next trade fair was set: 21st to 24th April 2009.
The world's leading trade fair for the processing of flexible materials will therefore be taking place from Tuesday to Friday instead of the previous Wednesday to Saturday.
By taking this step, Koelnmesse, the VDMA German Garment and Leather Technology Association (the trade fair's conceptual sponsor), and representatives of the exhibiting and visiting companies are responding to the needs of buyers in particular.
The members of the Advisory Committee were extremely pleased with the last IMB — World of Textile Processing in May 2006, which attracted around 25,000 trade visitors from 115 countries.
Praise was expressed for the excellent business results, the large number of new contacts made, the successful expansion of the product range on show to include the processing of technical textiles, and the way in which new visitor target groups were successfully addressed.
There was also a very positive reaction to the new Halls 6 to 9 at the Cologne exhibition centre, where IMB — World of Textile Processing — will be held once again in 2009.
