At CITME 2006 the German textile machinery specialists will demonstrate their latest developments in technology and service at the official German pavilion. In hall 2, on 2000 sqm, some 60 German exhibitors will show all the sectors of textile machines from spinning to finishing.
“In 2005 German textile machinery and accessories amounting to 742 million Euro were shipped to the PR China, thus representing 22 percent of our total exports. German textile machinery played a key role during the upgrading of Chinese textile plants in the last years”, explains Thomas Waldmann, Managing Director of the Textile Machinery Branch of VDMA.
Most requests in 2005 came from the knitting and hosiery market and amounted to 253 million Euro, followed by the weaving (137 million Euro) and the spinning sector (126 million Euro). “To be considered as such a reliable partner for investments in the future makes us proud. In order to deepen this working-together with our Chinese partners, we initiated the German pavilion at CITME, offering customers and prospects a first class address to exchange information and experience,” summarises Waldmann.
The information desk of the official German pavilion will be located in hall 2. Visitors to CITME can find there the right contact for their individual demand. Useful information about the exhibitors of the German pavilion can also be checked thru website, enabling visitors to fix appointments well ahead of the show.
