MoT at NITRA - textile sector has a huge job potential

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of State for Textiles, Shri E.V.K.S. Elangovan said that the key area that requires immediate attention is the manpower training and management of human resources.
He launched NITRA's two new programs Garment Dyeing, Drycleaning & Finishing Technology and Industrial Environment Technology & Management. He also released NITRA's TABlet Series comprising of 15 technical handbooks for garment industry students and professionals.
The Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Shri D.P. Singh while speaking on the occasion said that the NITRA's manpower training activities are commendable.
Shri Singh informed that today's need is to strength, streamline the existing institutions for training skilled manpower. Shri Singh assured all possible help for the industry for meeting the target.
Earlier, Shri Shankarsinh Vaghela inaugurated the newly constructed Garment Technology Wing of NITRA.
