An agreement has been signed between Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Schoeller Technologies AG,Sevelen, Switzerland for 3XDRY, the multifunctional high-tech finish for textiles developed by Schoeller.
As per the terms, Ciba will provide quality control, licensing, sales, and technical support, while Schoeller will continue to handle branding, marketing, patenting and branding licenses.

Schoeller makes specialty stretch fabrics incorporating hardwearing Kevlar to make protective or reflective fabrics. Based on phase change technology, originally developed by NASA, the company has developed multifunctional moisture management finish on fabrics.
