Yarn mfg facility under way at Navoiy Region

Switzerland and Uzbekistan formed joint venture for producing quality yarns in Navoiy Region, central Uzbekistan.
Named Baxt Tekstil, the project is funded to the tune of 500 million Sum by
National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan
.
In this new yarn factory, advanced technology has been used and its first production facility has been completed.
Company would be able to produce 7,500 tons of cotton yarn by the end of current year while production capacity is rated at 12,000 tons of yarn.
Around 400 jobs are expected to come up providing succour for people in the region.
