Conference 2006 that was scheduled to be held in Colombo has now been relocated to Shangri–La hotel in Dubai, informs Herwig Strolz, Director General, International Textile Manufacturers Federation.
Conveying this information to Fibre2fashion News Desk, India, Strolz said, “Due to obvious reasons in present day Sri Lanka, we had to change the venue.”
ITMF Conference 2006 is scheduled to open on Saturday, September 23, 2006, and will run through September 26, 2006.
The Conference will comprise of The Fibre Session, General Sessions, Workshops and Committee Meetings. The Committee Meetings will include spinners, cotton and Management Committee Sessions.
A workshop is also to be held that is open for all conference delegates upon prior registration.
Sudden change in the venue has led the organizers to work overtime and are putting their best to ensure the event achieve its desired objectives.
