India's largest display of accessories at KnitShow 2006

6th edition of the annual accessories event KnitShow 2006 which concluded at Tirupur recently established its place as the premier event for the garment accessories and allied products and machineries.
The show was inaugurated by A. Sakthivel, President of Tirupur Exporters Association in the presence of captains of the industry. The four day event was held in the air-conditioned comforts spread over 6 halls with nearly 700 booths with over 370 companies participating from all parts of the global presenting a wide range of products and services.
Accessories have a crucial role in enhancing the value of knit/ woven garments and other home textiles. They are the bits and pieces that are essential to make an article of clothing's complete.
They are also the high value components that embellish the garment adding value and giving it an edge in the competitive market of today. The highlight of the show was the record number of accessories manufacturers who were displaying their products from New Delhi, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh and other parts of the country.
For the visitors it was options galore and bargain spree was seen with many customers comparing prices and delivery time of each supplier and all the accessories suppliers were kept on their tenterhooks to attract the attention and retain customers.
In this backdrop an exclusive accessories tradeshow is a not-to-be-missed event for any garment manufacturer at least to know first hand latest collections offered by each trimming and embellishment manufacturer.
