Today's Cotton prices recorded price rise of Rs25 to Rs2,575 compared to yesterday's price, informed sources of Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) today.
As per the Cotlook Indices, A Index was 60.85 on September 1, 2006.
TDM station registered transaction of 1,200 bales of which 1,000 bales were traded at Rs2,575 and another 200 bales at Rs2,585.
Sultanabad station registered transaction of 400 bales at Rs2,550, 800 bales were traded at SWL station between price range of Rs2,700 and Rs2,725.
Hyd and Kotri station each reported 300 bales transaction at Rs2,600.
400 bales were traded on Burewala station of which 200 bales at Rs2,700 and another 200 at Rs2,725.
Chichawatni station recorded transaction of 200 bales at Rs2,700.
