Nominations for election to the Australian Wool Innovation(AWI) Board of Directors open on 15 September 2006.
In accordance with the constitution, three Directors must stand down to create the required three vacancies to be contested.
Directors Dr Chris Abell, Mr Walter Merriman and Mr Brian van Rooyen are retiring, but have all advised they will be seeking re-election.
Anyone can nominate in writing before 3 October 2006, provided they are supported by at least 100 AWI shareholders.

The election will be held at the AWI Annual General Meeting 2pm, 14 November at Armidale, New South Wales.
