Ian McLachlan AO, Chairman, AWI on managerial arrangements:
Dr Len Stephens & the Board of Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) have reached an agreement concerning new managerial arrangements which will be effective later this year.
Where as AWI started as a research and development company, it is well into the business of marketing its post farm innovations.
With that in mind, AWI has embarked on an executive search for a Chief Executive Officer with the skills to strengthen the international marketing effort.
I would like to wish Len every good fortune and thank him for his significant contribution to AWI over the last 3 years.
