Dr Jan Beringer promoted as Director of Hohensteiner Institutes

In appointing him as Director of the Textile Services & Innovations Department, the Hohenstein Institutes want to go on to strengthen the areas of textile leasing and laundry in a similar way in the future, and also to give a new stimulus to research in this field.
Even while he was studying at the University of Stuttgart, Jan Beringer already demonstrated his close interest in the textile sector, for, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karl Bredereck, he studied innovative aspects of textile and fibre chemistry initially for his first degree (1999) and later for his doctoral thesis (2000-2004).
Jan Beringer is married and has two children. He lives with his family in Esslingen am Neckar.
