Indian Oil dispatches 1st PTA shipment to Indo Rama

Indian Oil has invested in 553,000 metric tons per year PTA unit making it the second largest project venture just after 120 TMTPA Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) at Gujarat Refinery.
Company sources reported that the company had started to transport commercial shipments of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) to the designated firms.
K Govindarajan, Executive Director (Petrochemicals), dispatched the first consignment for Indo Rama Synthetics.
