Japan is going to witness the launch of own brand by London-based Liberty PLC, which is famous for its printed textiles in spring, 2008.
The relations between Japan and Liberty go back a long way. When Liberty was first launched in 1875 by Arthur Liberty, he used to sell fabrics and ornaments which were imported from Japan.
Company has been selling printed textiles to the wholesalers in Japan since 1988 but has now targeted to expand its business in Japan with the sale of its own range of luxury products for home as well as accessories.
The items include luggage, cushions and throws to candles, scarves and neckties. The number of stores which will stock the products is still not decided.
