Footwear on the move Recently, the industry has been transferring the comfort of soft-shell clothing to footwear. The first shoes in these comfortable and breathable stretch fabrics have been launched. Schoeller Switzerland has further innovations and numerous proven products for shoes, boots, bags and luggage.
The special feature of a “soft-shell” shoe is: it fits well and comfortably and promotes a pleasant foot environment. It is easy to slip on and off. And it offers enormous clothing comfort. In addition, soft-shells provide new optic impulses. And the greater water and dirt repelling properties are additional good reasons for making shoes or boots from soft-shells. Keprotec fabrics contain Kevlar fibers and are used for those shoes and boots which have to meet the highest requirements in terms of robustness, durability and a long life cycle, combined with comfort.
