From 5th to 7th of October at Inter Expo Center – Sofia was held the fourth Balkan Gate Apparel and Textile Exhibition – BGate.
It has become a tradition the countries from the region to show the latest achievements in this industry at the business exhibition in Sofia.
17.9 percent of total and about 1/3 of the export from Bulgaria to the European Union are due to the textile industry according the statistics from 2005.
Branch output follows the temps and trends of the world textile industry, new materials and technologies are constantly introduced and the focus is placed upon new production segments.
This keeps live all engaged along the chain – producers, traders, distributors. The entering Bulgaria in the European Union sets new challenges for them, makes the environment very competitive and mobile, leads to dynamic changes in the branch on the international markets and intensifies the search for contractors and partners.
BGate is a business-to-business exhibition dedicated to the professionals in the textile and clothing industry. The exhibition aims each representative of the industry to get informed about the latest tendencies in the branch and to demonstrate his products or services in a wide exhibition spectrum – textile, yarns, accessories and subsidiary materials for the clothing industry, apparel and knitwear /own trade mark or with materials supplied by the client/, machines, equipment and spare parts, software and different services /forwarding, agent's, insurance, repairs, printing, laundry etc.
