As reported by the Federal Statistical Office, the index of selling prices in wholesale trade increased 3.0 percent in September 2006 from the corresponding month of the preceding year.
In August and in July 2006, the annual rate of change was +5.3 percent and +4.6 percent, respectively.
From August to September 2006 the index fell by 0.5 percent.
