Cotton prices have been stable from the beginning of this week; after the last week's prices Rs2425 per maund, no change has been registered since then.
This week opened with a downtrend as cotton prices were Rs2400 per maund, and the market has been gripped by this trend even today, revealed sources from Karachi Cotton Association.
According to the Cotlook Indices, A Index was 57.20 on October 11, 2006.
Domestic transactions took place at several stations with more than 15900 bales.
