Johann Philipp Dilo heads German Textile Machinery Assn VDMA

Germany's VDMA - Textile Machinery Association has in its general body meeting on June 10, 2005, elected Johann Philipp Dilo (Oskar Dilo Maschinenfabrik KG, Eberbach) as Chairman, unanimously.
VDMA also elected their new board of directors for the next three-year period till 2008.
It was Chairman Heinrich Trützschler (Trützschler GmbH & Co. KG, Mönchengladbach) who proposed Dilo's name for the position.
The faces in the board of directors are: Deputies Fritz P. Mayer (Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik GmbH, Obertshausen) and Heinrich Trützschler.
Dilo informed he will pursue his predecessor's policies, in particular regarding the exhibition and the ITMA activities.
Besides, he said challenges facing the medium-sized companies and the market changes caused by the industrial development in China will also be taken up.
