In the newly introduced “The Moodie Report Travel Retail Website of the Year” award, also bestowed last night, The Nuance Group Australia was highly commended. The judges' remit was to judge each offer from the perspective of a travelling consumer.

The Moodie Report's verdict on The Nuance Group's Australian website was: “Highly commended Downtown Duty Free was impressive. Its tagline reads: 'It's online. It's duty free. Go for it.' And we reckon plenty of people will, thanks to this great website that pulls no punches in a typically up-front Aussie manner.

The jury was further impressed by the site's easy-to-use pre-order facility for both Arrivals and Departures; the international price guarantee with refunds offered; abounding price offers and promotions; and thorough information regarding allowances and other matters.
