WTO is 'a laboratory for harnessing globalization' – Lamy

Director-General Pascal Lamy, in the Malcolm Wiener Lecture at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University at Cambridge, Massachusetts on 1 November 2006, expressed the hope that “all WTO Members consider the contribution that the WTO can make to ensuring that globalization works to the benefit of one and all peoples as they reflect on the resumption of the negotiations”. This is what he said:
