Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn set to expand production capacity

Shri Lakshmi Cotsyn Ltd is all set for its next expansions by investing Rs189 crore which will lead to increase its production capacity.
In first phase company will invest Rs125 crore for setting up a unit at Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh which will produce specialized industrial textile for defence organizations and in second phase it will put in Rs64 crore at Roorkee for manufacturing readymade garments in Uttaranchal.
The unit in Roorkee is to be commissioned by March 2007, would be helpful for producing six million pieces of denim jeans, trousers and shirts.
Due to these future expansions, the annual capacity would increase from current level of 38 million meters to 91 million meters approximately.
