Cabela's Incorporated, the World's Foremost Outfitter of hunting, fishing and outdoor gear, announced it hopes to bring one of its famous Cabela's retail stores to its thousands of loyal customers in northern Idaho.
"We are very close to finalizing negotiations on this new store in Post Falls," said Dennis Highby, Cabela's President and Chief Executive Officer.
"Idaho has been a great supporter of Cabela's for many years through our catalogs and Internet site as well as our new Boise store, and we look forward to bringing the impressive Cabela's retail store experience to the hundreds of thousands of outdoorsmen and women in northern Idaho and the surrounding the region who, like us, are passionate about the outdoors."
Cabela's projects the approximately 125,000-square-foot retail showroom could be completed as early as fall of 2007. The Post Falls store would be Cabela's second in Idaho. Cabela's opened a retail store in Boise, their first in Idaho, in August of this year.
"Cabela's will be the showcase anchor for the premier retail shopping center we are planning along the I-90 corridor between Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington," said Jeff Vitek, President of Foursquare Properties Inc.
"This development could not have been possible without the vision, inspiration and hard work of the Cabela's management team. Foursquare is honored to have been designated as one of Cabela's preferred developers for the Western United States."
