BCH at IIT Delhi for International Conference on Technical Textiles

Technical Textiles are considered as most remunerative in this fast changing scenario of the global textile industry. The growing necessity and demand of these functional textiles in the Indian market is stimulating the minds of all the industry players to venture into these new product categories.
To answer the needs of these people, Department of Textile Technology, IIT Delhi is organizing a two day International conference on Technical Textiles to be held on 11 & 12 November, in New Delhi.
The main objective of the conference is to bring together the industry, research organizations and academia involved in the field of technical textiles and have meaningful discussions on the existing technical textile products, new product developments, domestic and global market potential for these products in order to come up with suitable strategies for growing this particular industry in India.
This is expected to be beneficial for the industry, which is looking forward to take advantage of the opened up global market, and the research organizations and academic institutions to identify the areas to concentrate their R&D efforts and develop appropriate technology and products.
