The biannual fair, CNTex International Sourcing Fair (Wuxi) Autumn 2006, lasted from October 29 to October 30, has concluded successfully. This sourcing fair organized by China Textile Network Co Ltd (CNTEX), won great supports of Wuxi Municipal Government as well as CNTEX¡¯s global partners such as ASAP Show Inc.
Around 100 overseas buyer from Vietnam, the United States, Italy, Canada, Australia, India, South Korea, the Southeast Asia and a huge amount of domestic buyers arrived in Wuxi and took part in the Sourcing Fair covering 30,000 square meters with more than 1000 pavilions to meet some local textile and apparel companies around Wuxi face to face. Supplier-and-buyer matchmaking was organized along with the sourcing fair.
Most of the buyers were invited to visit the local factories before or during the show. And according to the feedback forms the organization committee designed, the buyers thought the Wuxi trip fruitful and expressed their intention to come back to Wuxi for business.
Besides, the 2nd Textile & Apparel Cooperation and Development Form of Zhujiang Delta and Yangtze Delta Areas, organized by China Textile Information Center and the Jiangsu Province Textile Industry Association was held in the corresponding period in Wuxi.
