The theme of the five-day (20-24 November 2006) programme is “SME Development, Growth and Poverty Alleviation”. Four programmes have been successfully organized earlier in Delhi and Chennai during the last two years. About 50 delegates representing 23 Commonwealth countries including India are participating in this programme.
Shri Anupam Dasgupta, Secretary, Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro & Rural Industries, Shri H.P.Kumar, CMD, NSIC and Mr. George Saibel, Director, Special Advisory Services Division, Commonwealth Secretariat, among others also spoke on the occasion.
