RIL's Jamnagar paraxylene plant shut down for maintenance

In an official communication to the stock exchange, RIL has informed that its paraxylene plant at Jamnagar has been shut down on account of scheduled maintenance, as of November 21, 2006.
'Change of catalyst' has been attributed for the plant shutdown, according RIL sources.
The plant is expected to go on stream in mid January, 2007.
