The Textile Association of India (TAI) is going to conduct its two day national conference which will include several delegates and around ten board members.
Conference would discuss on challenges that industry has to face in world market. Delegates from the textile and associate sector and industrialists, professionals, institutional faculties and business associates will take part in conference.
P R Roy, TAI President, told that there is a big gap between industry owners and professionals of the industry. He even pointed out lack of skilled workforce in the industry.
He also raised concern on the industry's declining apparel exports to the US and Europe in 2006.
