Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PRGMEA) formed the Pakistan Apparel Forum in association with other three major associations of textile industry.
Pakistan Apparel Forum is formed for the uplift of spinning and weaving sector of the country.
Along with PRGMEA other three associations involved in forum are Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association, Pakistan Knitwear and Sweater Exporters Association and Pakistan Cotton Fashion Apparels Association.
This forum will deal with problems related to the apparels industry which will help in survival of the industry in competitive era. Its other objectives are to join the newly formed Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and get a place on the apparel board in the concerned ministry.
