Sears Canada Inc, the country's largest multi-channel retailer, now provides customers with the convenience of redeeming gift cards for online purchases at company website just in time for the holidays.
"Gift cards simplify holiday shopping for many people and since company website is the most shopped department store web site in the country it only makes sense to offer our customers the ability of redeeming gift cards online," said Dene Rogers, Acting President, Sears Canada. "We are continuously seeking ways to provide consumers with choices and convenient ways to shop."
Gift cards make great gifts and November and December account for a high percentage of all consumer gift card sales at Sears. The Sears gift card works just like cash and is accepted at all Sears stores, and online at company website.
The Sears gift cards means a world of choices for consumers from fashion, jewellery, cosmetics and fragrances to home furnishings, appliances and tools.
Gift cards can also be used on vacation packages and trips, the Sears Portrait Studio, Sears Carpet Cleaning and Home Services and Repairs and Sears Hair Salons.
"Gift cards are really becoming quite popular because they give people the opportunity to choose what they want, when they want it," said Rogers. "It's the gift that goes beyond Christmas morning."
