Gamma Holding intends to sell the curtain fabrics and wall decoration activities of the Sleep Care Fabrics business unit to Escofin N.V., a Belgian company specialised in decoration textiles. Both parties have signed a declaration of intent to this effect.
Gamma Holding expects to complete the transaction in the first quarter of 2007. No statements can be made on the sum involved.
Turnover of the activities to be sold amounts to approximately EUR 9 million. Some 30 people are involved in the transaction. The social partners will be consulted on the matter.
Gamma Holding will publish its annual figures for 2006, including explanatory notes, on 23 February 2007, before the opening of the stock exchange.
