The project foresees a contest in the fashion colleges, where four students from each institution are chosen to develop a conceptual collection adapted to the companies' reality. As a counterpart, the companies open their doors for the students to get to know the production universe, from spinning mills, modeling, and notions to finishing.

The objective of the conceptual collection is to generate reflection, show it is possible to do something different with the same structure. 'This shock is interesting, because it opens the businessmen's minds. We place four “crazy” students in the companies that can transform a pillow into pajamas. The SCMC also has an annual calendar with lectures and workshops with the biggest names in fashion and business in Brazil, such as Glória Kalil, the Campana Brothers and Karla Girotto. All costs for collection production and seminars are covered by the companies.

“The objective is to create a culture of added value in the companies, as a counterpoint to the traditional exportation of commodities such as sheets, towels, jeans by the meter and knits by the kilo."

"Buerger cites the example of Colcci, which rather than export a T-shirt for US$ 4, sells the same product plus a brand and fashion for 20 euros. 'We are domestic capital companies. We already have the largest base in Latin America, and we sell to classes A and B. Now we need to focus on design, because when you sell beauty, everything is a lot easier.”
