2007 NCC Annual Meeting to discuss global strategy/economic trends

All are cordially invited to the National Cotton Council's '07 Annual Meeting at the Hilton Austin hotel in Austin, TX, February 1-5. Meeting registration and hotel reservations can be made online by going to website.

NCC Chairman Allen Helms will give a report at the February. 5 general session along with Jeffrey Rosensweig, a frequent keynote speaker on topics related to global strategy/economic trends. Congressional leaders also have been invited to address this session.
The Annual Meeting schedule and other information are available at the web site above. Among other important convention sessions will be the February 2 American Cotton Producers meeting where the NCC's planting intentions ('07) survey results will be announced.
On February 3, the delegates will hear the NCC's Economic Outlook and a Cotton Incorporated report from J. Berrye Worsham. The National Cotton Ginners Association also will hold its annual meeting that afternoon.
The Saturday luncheon will feature Michael Gerson, a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and Newsweek magazine contributor. He will talk about the new political season and how more than the balance of political power is at issue in '07.
