Talking Textile is the theme of the research for the fall/winter 2007-2008 seasons. After a period of uncertainty, in which the need for security was represented by the exhibition of opulence and the importance of the accessory, fabrics once again become the focus of apparel - Prato Expo.

Fabrics with a personality, significant weights, soft handles, fluid drape, with patterns in the weave or on the surface to create garments with a timelessness that transcends the temporary blaze of fashion.

Six different structural interpretations of the fabrics become as many trend themes suggesting surfaces, blends and atmospheres.

Spherical: comfortable, fitted to the body. Plain knits and jersey. Pale, neutral colors. Rich, natural, soft fibers in blends with stretch fibers.

Ruined (Time-worn): fabrics that speak of tradition, history and culture. The passage of time has left its mark. Unusual finishing. Fleeced, singed and boiled. Ancient patterns, tiny and masculine. Grey, ash and neutrals.

Organic: nature inspires the structures and weaves of the fabrics that imitate complex architectures of twigs, bark and leaves. Thick, twisted yarns. Flocked, slubbed, tweed yarns in wool blends. Natural colors that are never naive.

Hermetic: defensive fabrics, structured and compact. Doubleface in wool, ribs, matted like boiled medieval cloth. Metallic fibers to enrich the structures. Metallic colors: zinc, titanium, gold, bronze, etc.

Facetted: magnificent, brilliant surfaces, geometrically defined by bright/dulleffects. Multidimensional fabrics. The colors are white, black, silver, kingfisher, mustard.
