Jaithirth Rao resigned from the board of directors of Arvind Mills on January 13, 2007. Company was established in 1931 and it deals mainly in production and export of fabrics, yarn and readymade garments.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2006, net profit of the company dropped 85.07 percent to Rs55.50 million as against the figure of Rs371.90 million for same period 2005.
Total income for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 was Rs4327.40 million and it fell nine percent to Rs3937.70 million during same period 2006.
