Expressing its sincere gratitude to the Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram for resolving the issue of limiting the increase of Third Party Insurance Cover up to 70% for the benefit of Transporters in the country, All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) called off its proposed nationwide Trade Bandh from 20th January 2007.
This was conveyed by AIMTC President in a letter sent to the Finance Minister.
