Ceredigion County Council has selected developers Liberty Mercian Ltd to build the 78,000 square feet Ystwyth Retail Park with an investment of £15 million adjacent to Somerfield Store on Park Avenue.

The unique partnership between the council and Liberty has enabled to attract retail biggies to the town.

Companies like Peacocks, Brantano and Pets at Home have moved in to the new retail park.

The retail park has formally opened by Mayor of Aberystwyth County Michael Jones.

This venture has created more than 200 new jobs and attracted new shoppers in the vicinity.
