Lately, a new natural fiber has attracted the attention of premier enterprises of industry.
The new fabric made-up of pineapple leaf is easy to dye, sweat-absorbent, wrinkle-free, slightly yellowish and glossy.
This technology is invented by Chinese Academy of Tropical Agriculture Sciences (CATAS) and has already got three national patents for it on the basis of mechanical extraction fiber technology.
This new technology will not only provide natural fibers with blend of cotton, wool, silk, chemical fiber etc, but also spins 100 percent pineapple leaf fiber yarn.
Fiber is more useful for medical use as it also has natural antibacterial properties.
