February 22, 2007 was a memorable day for Hindustan Chamber of Commerce as the leading textile organization of the city has successfully concluded ASIA-TEX 2007 to celebrate 110th year of organization.
The textile fair, where well-known manufacturers, exporters, processors, and businessmen of textile industry had put their stalls, was kicked off after an impressive inauguration. More than 150 stalls were put in the fair.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the fair, Chairman of the Chamber, Paras Golecha, stressed on the benefits of textile fair. He added that textile players should adopt new technology and keep pace with the changing scenario of trade.
Chief Guest of the ceremony, Prem Malik, Chairman, TEXPROCIL, exhorted textile exporters to take advantage of opportunities in world markets.
Among other dignitaries, Dharaprasad Poddar, Chairman, Siyaram Group of Industries, praised commercial and social services done by the Chamber.
