Sumeet Industries plans to strengthen its presence in polyester filament yarn through capacity expansion and set up a facility with backward integration investing Rs900 mn in the process.
Company will go for expanding its polyester POY-spinning capacity to 56,000 tons a year from the present 12,000 tons a year, by establishing 10 more lines of polyester POY-spinning plant having an annual installed capacity of 44,000 tons.
Installation of a continuous poly condensation plant having a capacity of 56,000 tons per annum is also on the anvil.
