Heavy interest shown in TEXGATE Fair

Exhibitors had plenty of reason to smile in regards to the number of visitors who passed through the turnstiles at the 21st International Fabric & Accessories Fair – TEXGATE, which was held at Istanbul CNR EXPO between March 08-10, 2007.

3214 of the 13,128 visitors were from abroad, whereas important contracts were made between the fair exhibitors and those visitors who came to TEXGATE Fair from neighboring countries. Organized by Istanbul Trade Fairs, there was a wide product profile comprised of denim, woven and knitted garments, thread and accessories at this exhibition.

EXHIBITORS MADE IMPORTANT AGREEMENTS:
The objective of TEXGATE Fair has been to bolster its regional leadership by attracting visitors from surrounding countries and reciprocating with added value that is ultimately created in those countries.

In this context, hosted buyer groups from several countries such as the U.K., Romania, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan as well as designers, sector professionals and purchasers from Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the U.K., Russia and CIS countries visited the year's first TEXGATE Fair through the auspices of the Foreign Trade Undersecretariat.
