The Woolmark Company organises a sourcing event every year in Ludhiana in February or March, which is the start of the business year for the Indian woollen knitwear and shawl manufacturers.
Long back the event started its journey showcasing only yarn and accessories and thus the name of the event was coined as 'Yarn & Accessories Presentation'.
We are using the same name but every year adding one sector, which is associated with knitwear and shawl industry. Last year we added machinery sector and this year we are adding trade media.
The leading companies of related fields participate in this sourcing event and the knitwear and shawl manufacturers get a chance to have a look of their required products and services within these two days under one roof.
This year 'Wool 2008 : Yarn & Accessories Presentation' is scheduled on 30th & 31st March 2007.
