Hancock shutters down store at Lancaster
20 Mar '07
1 min read
Hancock Fabrics Inc, the retail merchant of fabric and home decorating accessories, began a clearance sale at the Lancaster Fabrics store on Sunday.
The Lancaster store presented a variety of apparel fabrics and home-decorating products, including drapery and upholstery.
The Securities and Exchange Commission reports confirmed last month that 30 stores would begin liquidation sales during the year's first quarter.
According to company officials, out of 30, half of the stores leases will expire by the end of 2008. The others will end between 2009 and 2015.
