Trade Exhibition helps companies to bag huge export orders

The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and Bangladeshi embassy in Paris jointly organized the single country Trade Exhibition in collaboration with Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP). The event held in Paris from February 22–25, 2007.
In the exhibition, 24 Bangladeshi companies from industries like garments, ceramic tableware, home-textile, handicraft, jute and jute products, terry towel, and some others had participated.
According to EPB of Bangladesh, these companies bagged confirmed export orders worth about US $326,000 at this event and they also received prospective orders worth $800,000.
Over the last three years Bangladesh's exports to France have increased and it stood at $677 million during the previous year.
