For the last few days, cotton prices have stuck to the level of Rs2650 per maund. Today the prices are at the same level without any change, as per Karachi Cotton Association statistics.
In domestic transaction, 400 cotton bales (for 15th to 20th July delivery) and 200 bales (for 5th to 10th August) changed hands at Sanghar station at Rs2500 per maund. Khanpur registered transactions of 875 bales at Rs2765, Sindh Cotton saw dealing of 600 cotton bales at Rs2600 and SDU station witnessed 154 bales transacted at Rs2000 per maund.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 58.95.
