After maintaining a level of Rs2650 for quite a long time, cotton prices have declined to Rs2625 per maund from Friday onwards.
This week proves all the more disastrous as the prices keep rolling down and settled at Rs2600 per maund on Tuesday. Today, also prices of cotton are stable at Rs2600 per maund.
Domestic transactions have not taken place yet this week.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 58.90 yesterday.
